Arriving: I attended to her brother, and another one, and another one, and another one. I went to answer it. Although in that climate of extreme insecurity, uncertainty, despair and pain for the losses – loss is always a great pain – I managed to stay there. I missed my bus because I needed to stay: that’s where I should be.
“I didn’t miss the bus, you know? I
have gained several passengers for
tomorrow, and sure enough: now it
is stormy, deluging and raining; but
tomorrow the sun will surely shine.
And it really shined, because I met
some of them.”
